Anecdotes
Greatest Success
Water quality improvements in the Portage Bay and Drayton Harbor watersheds that led to upgrades.
Greatest Challenge
Identifying sources in the Drayton Harbor watershed, as well as the limited access to properties in a rural environment.
Needs to Further Goals or Pollution Control Plan / Lessons Learned
Building an interest in water quality in the community as a whole. A water quality advocate from the local community may help with efforts. Local outreach efforts haven't been successful, possibly because of a skeptical view of the efforts of regulators. Money may not be an issue, because it is hard to get on the ground.
