OLYMPIA -- The Washington State Department of Health has revoked or suspended the licenses, certifications, or registrations of the following health care providers in our state. The department has also immediately suspended the credentials of people who have been prohibited from practicing in other states.

The department’s Health Systems Quality Assurance Division works with boards, commissions and advisory committees to set licensing standards for more than 80 health care professions (e.g., dentists, nurses, counselors). Information about disciplinary action taken against medical doctors and physician assistants can be found on the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) website. Questions about WMC disciplinary actions can be sent to media@wmc.wa.gov.

Information about health care providers is on the agency’s website. Click on “Health Care Provider Lookup” under the “Find it Fast” section of the Department of Health website (doh.wa.gov). The site includes information about a health care provider’s license status, the expiration and renewal date of their credential, disciplinary actions and copies of legal documents issued after July 1998. This information is also available by calling 360-236-4700. Consumers who think a health care provider acted unprofessionally are also encouraged to call and report their complaint.

In April 2025 the secretary of health summarily suspended Aiesha R. Green's registered nursing assistant license (NA61063506). In January 2025, the Department of Social and Health Services’ Adult Protective Services determined Green financially exploited, mentally abused, and physically abused a vulnerable adult. The finding was made final, and Green was placed on the long-term care abuse and neglect registry, barring her from working with or having unsupervised access to vulnerable adults.

In April 2025 the secretary of health indefinitely suspended the license of associate marriage and family therapist Yuexiang Ling (MG61432088). In August 2024, Ling was charged with unprofessional conduct and with four class B felonies in King County related to the possession and distribution of sexually explicit depictions of minors. The following month, the department was notified Ling would not respond to the charges until after his criminal trial. Shortly after, the King County prosecutor reported he had fled the country.

Yakima County

In February 2025 the secretary of health indefinitely suspended the license of surgical technologist Sommer Lee Spencer (ST00002722). From April 2022 to Octboer 2024, Spencer failed to follow the terms of a 2020 agreement by missing required drug tests, testing positive for unauthorized substances, and missing peer support meetings.

Out of State

Idaho: In April 2025 the Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission indefinitely suspended the pharmacist license of John Ryan Bronsell (PH61218022). In March 2022, Bronsell was indicted in Idaho on two counts of obtaining controlled substances by fraud. In April 2022 the Idaho Board of Pharmacy indefinitely suspended the respondent’s pharmacist license as a result of the indictment. The suspension was affirmed in May 2022. Bronsell requested a hearing but failed to appear. An order of default was issued on December 4, 2024, and has not been challenged.
