In the Executive Office of Resiliency and Health Security, we work to have a strong response to natural disasters, outbreaks of sickness passed from one person to another, and other big public health emergencies.
Our vision is to make and use plans of action that save lives, and improve our ability to recover from emergencies with better access to public health and medical services.
We work to ensure that all Washington communities have what they need to build resilience in the face of public health threats, and are prepared for whatever may come.
We do this by:
- Leading our response to health threats and emergencies in a proactive and effective way that helps all of us.
- Learning from past emergencies in Washington and beyond.
