Low-Level Radioactive Waste
Low-Level Radioactive waste permits are for disposal of low-level radioactive waste generated only within the Northwest Interstate Compact or the Rocky Mountain Compact.
Northwest Interstate Compact Member States: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
Rocky Mountain Compact Member States: Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico
Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal - Site Use Permit Application (Word)
- Only waste generated within the Northwest Interstate Compact or the Rocky Mountain Compact.
- The permit time frame is March 1 (issued current year) to February 28 (expires the following year).

NARM Waste
For disposal of naturally occurring and accelerator produced radioactive material wastes that meet the criteria established by the Washington State Department of Health.
