Commission Recognizes PACE
The Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission (commission) recognizes the Provider Approved Continuing Education (PACE) program in the effort to maintain high standards of continuing education (CE). In the event of a CE audit of a licensed chiropractor, the CQAC will accept documentation, transcripts, and/or reports from PACE on their behalf.
Chiropractors must complete 25 hours of CE per year.
- Two hours, every four years must be completed in health equity in accordance with WAC 246-12-830 and WAC 246-808-150.
- Chiropractors must obtain a one-time, three hours training in suicide screening and referral from a qualified suicide training prevention program. Training must be completed during the first full reporting period after initial licensure.
Chiropractic x-ray technicians must complete six hours of CE per year.
- Two hours, every four years must be completed in health equity in accordance with WAC 246-12-830 and WAC 246-808-209.
