Ongoing Training Evaluation Program (OTEP) Development
Washington State provides EMS providers with two educational pathways for renewing EMS certifications WAC 246-976-171. The CME method of recertification WAC 246-976-162: and the OTEP method of recertification WAC 246-976-163.
A licensed EMS service, ESSO, a local county or regional EMS office, or an EMS county medical program director (MPD) may apply for an MPD and state-approved OTEP plan per the requirements listed in WAC 246-976-026.
