We encourage you and your partners to use this logo with your organization's logo on Healthy Communities efforts in Washington.
Healthy Communities Washington started as an initiative of the Washington State Department of Health. Its original goal was to improve the health of people in Washington at the community level. Today it is Washington's call-to-action for public health professionals, the business community, schools, health plans, policy makers, transportation, and community planning professionals to work together to support healthier physical and social environments in communities. It has expanded beyond the department and is now available to use across the state.
Who should use the logo?
We use Healthy Communities Washington as the theme for all chronic disease prevention and maternal child health messages at the Department of Health. By promoting Healthy Communities Washington, we hope to inspire communities and residents to develop an environment that makes the healthy choice the easy choice, where people live, work, and play.

Please follow these guidelines to ensure consistency in logo appearance:
- The logo must appear in its entirety every time it is used. Do not edit the type, change the typeface or insert extra words. On the logo: the mark refers to the curved lines; the slogan refers to the words: Healthy Communities Washington.
- Any resizing must be done proportionately. Never squeeze or stretch the logo out of proportion to fit the space.
